And to continue my mapping playtime, I downloaded Google Earth and saved this satellite image of my favourite corner of last night’s run. If you look at the previously posted Gmap url you can see where we ran.
They should put a warning on the Google Earth download: “This free product may cause you to waste tons of time and while giving you hours of fascinating entertainment.”

You know, if you combine MotionBased and Google Earth, you can have one-click fly-throughs of your runs. Now *that’s* addictive. Check out some of mine from http://rjstanford.motionbased.com/ if you like (may need to sign up for a free MB account first), but I warn you, watching them can be a big waste of time. But hey, its a fun big waste of time, so that’s alright, right?
